The Foundation of American Ideals advocates understanding and appreciation of American history and the values at the heart of our national identity — liberty, equality, natural and civil right, republican institutions, and responsible citizenship.

We need support to carry out this work — chiefly to pay for publishing and distributing The American Crisis, the foundation’s online magazine, and to pay the incidental costs of sharing our ideas with teachers and other decision makers in education. Gifts of any size are deeply appreciated. The Foundation of American Ideals is recognized as a charitable institution by the Internal Revenue Service. Your contributions to the foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
